Dr. Friedman has been involved in laboratory and clinical hair loss research since 1997. He participated in determining the genetic basis of inherited forms of hair loss, conducted groundbreaking research targeting gene expression to modify hair growth, and to induce hair growth by sub-organ level implants in human skin. Currently, Dr. Friedman is conducting a non-industry sponsored clinical trial for a novel, non-invasive modality to treat hair loss.
